Hi everyone,
This week I was focused on figuring out my free inquiry question and it was surprisingly not as difficult as I thought it would be. Usually when I am faced with projects or assignments where I have free reign, it takes ages for me to choose and decide on a topic. However, for this assignment my question came quickly. I had just taken up longboarding at the beginning of September and it is almost perfect timing with this assignment. I am a complete beginner, I have never skateboarded or ridden anything like it.
Being a complete beginner and a person that learns better through visual purposes, I jumped on Youtube to look for resources. I found a couple channels that seem to be useful, although I know nothing so maybe they aren’t, but its all trial and error at this point.
For my first week I have basically been practicing in the school parking lot across from my house and essentially getting used to foot placement and not crashing after two seconds. I am hoping to be able to cruise by the end of next week, and the biggest thing that I will need to learn is how to stop. If I don’t this free inquiry project might never get finished 😅.
